Backup card

Our backup card makes it easy to create a handwritten backup. It is printed on ageing-resistant cardboard and can be laminated without a lamination machine for additional protection. Privacy is important, so the card does not mention Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies on the outside. But the instructions inside, as well as the included booklet, guide you through every step of backing up your wallet.

Clear instructions

Writing down the 24 recovery words is not a very intuitive process and needs to be executed with certain precautions. The same holds true for recovery: you or someone else might have to recover your wallet far in the future.

Ageing resistant

A backup needs to withstand the test of time. The backup card uses fine high-quality and ageing-resistant cardboard that is chlorine-free and acid-free. It is sourced from a specialty paper manufacturer with over 100 years of experience.

Lamination protection

The fine cardboard of the backup card has a weight of 270 g/m2 and is used in three layers with the outer cover and the backup inlay. This makes for a very solid card. The cold-lamination pouch included with the backup card adds important protection against moisture and physical wear and does not require a lamination machine.
